I don’t like the flavour of spices which is over dominating. But many would crave for this haleem as this will be available easily only during Ramzan month. . Haleem is a high-calorie dish that gives instant energy, as it contains slow-digesting and fast-burning ingredients. The dry fruits that are rich in anti-oxidants add to its nutritional value. The meat and dry fruits make it a high-protein food. . Haleem is a paste-like stew composed of meat (mutton, beef or chicken), pounded wheat, lentils, ghee, ginger-garlic paste and turmeric. It also contains spices such as cumin seeds, caraway seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, saffron and jaggery, and dry fruits such as pistachio, cashew, fig and almond. It is served hot, topped with a ghee-based gravy, cashews,pieces of lime, chopped coriander and fried onions as garnish. As a person who had spent the last few years traveling in search of stories, Vera now had to stay in and look at the world through the viewfinder of her window. As a traveler and photographer, searching is inherent to Vera. But because of the social distancing situation, she had to look for the link between her and nature without leaving her home. And she managed to find it on the balcony, nested in her pots, ready to unfold before her eyes every day. In order to preserve it and then tell that story, Vera's success again depends on the tip of her index finger put on the trigger. Not the one on her camera, but on the water spray tank. Made the most delicous soup yesterday and heated it up on the fire for lunch with ocean views. @sour.photography as you want some of my receipes here goes ... onion, garlic, ginger, chilli, tumeric, cumin, fennel seeds, garam masala, pumpkin, sweet potato's, chickpeas, vegetable stock. Cook the onion and garlic til translucent, add all the spices and cook til really fragrant, add the vegetables and fry off for a bit, maybe 10 minutes or roast them in the oven first. Then add the chickpeas and stock, bring to the boil and simmer for as long as you like. [Recette] Curry de choux Ingrédients : . 1 petit chou-fleur . 1 petit brocoli . 1 carotte . 400 gr tomates concassées . 40 cl lait de coco light . 1 dés de gingembre frais . 1 oignon jaune . 3 gousses ail . 1 cuillère à soupe beurre de cacahuètes . 3 cuillères à soupe curry en poudre ou une cuillère à café de pâte de curry. . 1 cuillère à café curcuma en poudre . 1 cuillère à soupe d'huile d'olive . sel et poivre . Citron vert en option Préparation : Coupe finement l'oignon, pèle et dégerme les gousses d'ail. Détache les fleurettes du chou-fleur et du brocoli et lave-les. Épluche la carotte, coupe-la en petits dés. Râpe le gingembre dans un petit bol puis ajoute les gousses d'ail pressées, les épices et une cuillère à soupe de lait de coco. Mélange bien. Fais revenir l'oignon dans une casserole avec un peu d'huile d'olive. Ajoute le mélange d'épices et mélange bien. Ajoute les tomates concassées, le chou fleur, le brocoli, la carotte et le reste du lait de coco. Laisse cuire à petit bouillon pendant environ 30 minutes en remuant régulièrement.
